When we first started out, we had a whole spate of people asking for requests 'for a friend'. We did the requests, putting loads of work into it and the friend would want a change, then pass it on, we'd get the information 2nd hand and the wrong thing gets made. The friend doesn't get what he wants, the artist gets frustrated, the person who asked feels awkward.
So, in the end, we stopped doing requests for 'friends'.
It is in the stickies bud.

Rules:
1. No making requests for others. If your friend wants art, tell him/her to come here and request it him/herself.
2. Be patient! Your art will not be made the second that you post the request! Please remember that we are real people, with real lives, and we make cg art because we enjoy it, not because we are paid; we are simply volunteers! Sometimes artists will not be able to make your art because they are too busy with their real lives, or something of the sort. Just be patient, and your request will be made. If you need it done in a certain time frame, you must be willing to pay for that time frame.
3. You must make a new thread for each art request you make. Only one request is allowed per thread. Also, do not make requests in someone else's thread, this is just stealing the thread from them, please make your own thread! |
