I would like a header bar.

other: hmm i was thinking slanted stripes but if you did that you would have to make it wider, maybe around 50 x 25.
my other choice was to just do a gradient then after the gradient make it look dotty. like add dots to it. very small ones.

look at the Category background, that might be a night color to replace the darker grey or maybe a tiny tad bit darker than the category one.
