Same for Gimp, except step two is "Press ctrl+K."
Andrew(AP)

you dont have to press ctrl k if you use the path and did it the way i do.

11 steps vs. 2 steps, I'd rather do the 2 step process where you click only once.

its still a useful tutorial for instances where the render isn't so easy to get via a colour selector.

Well done for posting it up, Andrew Wink

Yeah, I think I might try this when I need to render something a bit harder.

Thanks Andrew! Very Happy

Who did I teach this to? Someone here but I forget.

Probably me lol. I have been trying to learn how to render for a long time, but nothing seems to work for me Very Happy Confused

Wait til you see the quick mask thingy that photoshop has. You just roughly draw a big green line round the edges and photoshop does it automatically. Even gets individual hairs from peoples heads and everything. Absolutely brilliant.

Wow, Photoshop sounds really great, if only I could get it...
