Was it the third one you liked also Brandon?
Also guys, what about the actual text 'online artwork request site'? It doesn't seem quite right to me, what would be better (without the use of the words 'free' or 'forum').
By the way, you don't need to be an artist to contribute to this thread, if you have eyes, then you have a valid opinion

Yep, I like the third one, Bravo
As for the text... it sounds fine

I made that butterfly myself
It's my first ever home made shape, quite easy to do as it goes...

Good work on the butterfly.

Already had me with the first one, but I do see the improvements you made. Good stuff. I especially like the knock out-glow effect on the butterfly!! 10 out of 10 imo. Wouldn't change anything about the design.

Thanks for the input guys.
I think the background gradient is either a little too light, or perhaps needs some kind of pattern overlay. I messed about with the patterns I have in PS, but none of them really worked...

I agree... It doesn't flow quite right...
not exactly sure what else it should say though...

My lovely attempt, some things are best done in fireworks, maybe you should work between the two bravo?

I have Fireworks, but I can create better in Photoshop. I can always open my Photoshop stuff in Fireworks should I need to...its primarily for web stuff, is that right?

if it is, I don't use it that way

Mock up designs quickly in Fireworks, or leverage other assets from Illustrator, Photoshop, and Flash. Then move directly into Dreamweaver CS3 for easy development and deployment. |
