Colouring and fixing an old photo using photoshop

I had an old wedding pic that had got damaged.  I fixed up the damage, then decided to go one step further and make it into a colour photo.

Here are the stages to that:

Basically trace round the area you want colouring, make a seperate layer, then fill with the colour of your choice, setting a layer mask of soft light with a transparency of around 80%

The skin tones and suit colours I got from some colour photos of the same event.  The rest I got from memory such as the church colours (the same church my children were baptised in).

Thank you Smile

I've since lost this photo (though still have original).  I might do it again one day or even fix up another old photo.  Takes quite a bit of work though, you've really got to be in the mood for it.
