AvatarI tried to put an avatar on my profile (I selected one from the gallery) and it will not go. It disappears when I click submit

are you sure that you have checked the little box that's below the avatar?

Yes. It shows up on profile, but when I hit submit it is not there.

Try this:
Copy/paste the url of the avatar image into "Link to off-site Avatar:", then click submit.

Does not work. I am a member of numerous forums and have never had a problem. I was trying to select one of the avatars from the site gallery and it does the same thing

If it's really bothering you visit the myfreeforum.org support forum at forum.myfreeforum.org and ask people there.
