I need a banner to give to others so they can link to my Forum.

As a matter of fact, I'd like to exchange banners with this forum, if you would allow that.

I see by your article that its a waiting list for people to help someone. As an artist myself
I understand this. But computer art is not something I understand very well or at all.

My request would be for an Artist to visit my Forum and help me from the start. Any
and all Ideas would be appreciated. My forum is primarily a sports forum, with Arts
as a secondary.

Also I'm trying for a Norse type thing on the board.

You need to post the dimensions of what you want the banner to be. No one can help you without those.

Here are some suggestions:


This is the size I use in my signature on other forums. It's rather big though.

Maybe a bit smaller like this:

A 'standard' banner is 468 x 60 pixels, though for link exchanges people tend to want them much smaller so they can include them in portals at the side of the forum.  88x31 is a popular choice I think

88x31 is the best size for affiliates.

I copied it and placed it in my Pics.
How do I attach my url to it?

Do I need to take it somewhere and upload it to attach my forum?

You need to upload your image to a hosting site like http://imageshack.us. Copy the link the site gives you for your banner.
Then when you are giving it to them give it to them in this form
[URL=your site][img]link that image shack gave you or another hosting site.[/img][/URL]

Example: Added spacing so picture does not show up. [ URL=http://itouchhackster.myfanforum.org][img ]http://gallery.myff.org/gallery/488755/ith_logo.gif[/img ][/URL]
