I got a job interview at Qdoba on Tuesday at 3.
I walked in to Qdoba to turn in my application.
I handed the counter guy my application, and I was on my way to turn around and walk out.
But the counter guy said "Hang on a sec..."
He looked over my application.
He told me that it looked good and he would go get the manager so I should hang tight for a second.
So I stood there and waited...
The counter guy told me the manager would be right out and asked me if I wanted a drink.
I told him I was ok, and didn't need a drink.  Then I grabbed a seat at a booth and sat and waited for the manager.
--I was NOT dressed for an interview either--
The manager came out and said, "Hi, are you Justin?"  Naturally I said, "Yes."
He said. "Hi, I'm Tod, nice to meet you."
I said, "Nice to meet you too."
We talked a bit about my application and he said, "Ok, well we were going to put this other guy in here, and today was his training day, but he didn't show up.  So we'll put you in his place."
I was like "Cool."
He said, "Can I see you ....Friday then?  That way we can have a formal interview where I can get a full half hour with you."
I said, "Uh...  I'm not sure...  I..."  (I was going to tell him I'm getting my wisdoms pulled tomorrow-thursday- so I would not be able to come in on friday.)
He said, "Ok, no problem, Monday then."
But then he corrected himself by saying, "Oh wait, we dont so interviews on Mondays, so Tuesday at 3."
I said, "Cool, I'll see you then."
