This is how far I have got so far. I am open to suggestions to how the texture should look.

seems real good, how do you make images like that?

make the threads(those tank instead of wheels "bands") darker?

It is a model, created in Anim8or.
It is then 'unwrapped' using UVMapper.

Both the above programs are free.

Unwrapping it gives me a texture (or a picture). When I apply the texture to the model in Anim8or it 'wraps' around it perfectly.

If you wish to make a texture for this tank, fill in the details on this texture.

You can see that I have coloured them so it is easier to know which bit belongs to where.

well I'm sorry I have downloaded a program for judging judo matches and I've sticked posters to half my keys but that doesn't affect my ability to write properly sorry.

If I download that firs anima8or program can I make a cube and with the second program stick what ever image I like to it and make it like a let's say a lego brick with the usb icon painted all over? Wink

If it is just a simple thing like a cube, you can put textures on it by just using anim8or alone.

UVMapper is mainly for texturing more complicated models.

No, it is for a game called UFO:Alien Invasion.

It is a free game that is currently in development (though it is quite playable at the moment).

I found it a few days ago and am keen to help out a little if I can.

Ok, because I remember getting a tank to texture that looked just like that one.

BTW, that link is broken.

One game is set in WW1 (The Last Hope) The other is set in WW2 (The Last Stand) And we might be changing the game names, and we might make a futuristic game set in the future. If we do change the game names it will be: The Last Stand, The Last Stand II, ect. If we do make a futuristic game, it might be nice to have that one ur making now.

The Last Stand is going to have five games:

1-3 are in the past, and 4-5 are in the future (obviously Wink).

1. Ancient times, Romans, etc.
2. WWI
3. WWII
4. WWIII
5. Humans vs. Aliens

That is a rough outline of where the games will be set.
