Today We Will Be Learning Another Basic Technique For GIMP. A Brushless Sig. Here We Go:
First Off Open Up A New Canvas. I am Sure You Can Handle This On Your Own. I Used a 420x121 (My Signature Size I ALWAYS Use).
Now Paste Your Render In Where It Looks Good:
Next Duplicate It About 3-10 Times, Depending On The Size Of Your Render. Next Spread Them Around So It Covers The Entire Canvas Like This:
Next Go To Filters>Noise>Pick. Have The Random Seed On 10, The Randomization(%) Around 50, and the Repeat on 50. It should now look like this:
It Looks Ok Right Now, But It Can Be Better. Make Sure Your Foreground Color is Black, and Background Color White. Duplicate The Background and Name It "Map" and put the Render Layer on Top Of All Other Layers. Then Go To Filters>Colors>Map>Gradiant Map. (Make Sure "Map" Is The Active Layer). Then Set Map To Soft Light at 100%. It Should Look Like This:
Next go to Edit>Copy Visible. Then Paste as a new layer. Then Go To Filters Blur>Motion Blur. then set it to Lighten Only and at 38.6%.
Now Duplicate Two Times, Then Guassian Blur Them Both By 10 on both Options. Set them both to Lighten Only at 75%. Then Erase A Bit Around The Focal Point. Now It Should Look Something Like This:
From This Point On It Is Up To You. I am Not Going To Explain Everything Else I Did. Just Fool Around With Filters. This Will Help You Get Used To GIMP. Remember To Add Text and a Border!!!!
