Hello my name is Renee
I'm opening my own Poetry- music composure
web site here at the forum.
And I'm really terriable with making the page layout-background.
Is there anyone here interested in helping me out.
I would Appreciate it.

The name of my site Is

See The Sound Of Poetry
Were writing is an Art not A skill.
And the lettering I would like in this size
http://img78.imageshack.us/img78/6941/logoie2.png
Colors and font, what ever you think would compliment

The art work I want on top near the site name Is
http://img377.imageshack.us/img377/9247/halikkisspart21xj5.jpg

I would like the layout to be something to compliment the picture
But doesn't clash with the board text.

I will understand if you can't do it.

Thank you Again
Renee Aka STS

If you are asking for a full web page layout, you wont find those for free anywhere on the internet.  You would be looking at a minimum of $100 I would guess.

Here we mainly do banners, avatars, signatures etc, mainly for use on forums.

No my appologies As I Re-read what I wrote, I didn't make my self clear.

I can put it all toghether I just can't do banners and Icons
They always look horriable
And if you could suggest a color background that would compliment my image?

Ah ok, well what you are best doing then is making seperate requests for each item, following this guide.  That way it's nice and clear what you want.

For your image, I would use a gradient background and go from black to green and see how it looked.  A lot of artwork is fiddling about with things and seeing how they look.  We chuck loads of ideas away before we get to the end product.  People look at something and think it took 10 minutes to make when it really took hours.

Believe me I know it takes long.
It took me a few days to make my Myspace overlay
page.

Thank you for the info

It has a big banner.

The banner is saved on the template as top.jpg so that is how you must upload it.  It is a bit weird because it is saved as a background rather than a regular image but you should be ok.
